It all began as a child. I loved drawing and painting but then it dropped away, as childhood pursuits often do… until I picked it up again in my 60s!

Having re-discovered the joy of creating art as an adult, I have been drawn to the complexities and beauty of watercolour. Established artists tell me that watercolour is the most difficult type of paint to work with but hey, I like a challenge. There is so much to learn and experiment with and I am loving it.

I do not have any lofty aims for my art. I enjoy creating it and I simply hope that it gives other people pleasure too.

I sell prints of my original watercolour paintings. The prints are taken from high resolution scans, using a Giclee technique on the best quality Hahnemuhle German Etching paper, giving a professional finish that is second to none. The quality is so good, it can be tricky distinguishing the prints from the originals!

Carbon footprint

I am based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The prints are produced locally. It feels good to support a small local business which, in turn, helps other local artists and creatives thrive. Plus, it minimises my carbon footprint. Packaging materials are derived from sustainable sources as far as possible.
